Take Home Project Kit- Build Your Own Toolbox

Outside the Box instructor, Jeff Brown, put together a fantastic take home kit for young Duluthians to build their own toolbox, complete with tools and paint to customize it once the building is done!

Build you own toolbox kit

On January 7, 2021, Outside the Box distributed its first programming kits at AICHO and Family Freedom Center, and more were delivered to Valley Youth Center on February 12, 2021. The take home kits include detailed instructions for building a personal toolbox, and all the necessary tools and materials for making an awesome finished product!

Materials for this project were donated by Carpenters Local 361. We're grateful to our community supporters who allow us to provide our free programming to youth in Duluth. Even at a time when social distancing is the norm, we want young people to feel connected to creativity and learning, as well as all the people out there who want them to succeed!

Keep an eye out for even more Outside the Box kits coming soon!
